Bring on Summer!

School has been out for about a month now and we've been cramming our summer full of fun!  Here are just a few things we've been up to.

Dancing!

Weighing in with the animals!

Riding tractors.

Going on a hay ride!

Horseback Riding!

Shetland Pony riding!

Train riding!

Hanging off the caboose!

Nesting!

Hanging out in logs!

Otter watching.

Monkeying around!

A bit more monkeying around!

Swinging from trees!
Hope your summer is as wild and crazy as ours has been!

Carter turns 2

Carter turned two on May 28th.  We kept the celebrations a bit low key this year. We barbequed with the Oborn family on Saturday the 26th while Clint & Michelle were still in town.  Then barbequed again on Monday the 28th with the Duersch family.

Grandpa Oborn reading the card.  Carter is more interested in the toy phone he just unwrapped.

A huge dump truck from Uncle Cody & Aunt Tiffany!

More car stuff from Dad & Mom.

The only one in the family without prescription glasses (for now), so he got his own pair of shades.

Eating cake (mostly icing) at Grandpa & Grandma Duersch's!

Cousins

Uncle Clint & Aunt Michelle came to town over Memorial Day Weekend and blessed baby Oliver.  This was the first time the kids met their new cousin.  They were so excited!  It was a bit of a whirlwind weekend, but fun just the same.

Pretty much how things end up with Clint & Jarad every time they are together.

Holding Oliver!

Proud cousin!

End of School

After the 3rd grade spelling bee!  He did fabulous!  He made it all the way to the final round and was declared a winner with a few other contestants.

With Ms. Becky...the BEST preschool teacher EVER!

Isabel & Maggie (one of her best preschool buds)

Izzy & Taya!  Best friends!
The end of this school year was big for our kids.  Cole finished 3rd grade and is officially more than halfway done with elementary school.  Isabel graduated from preschool and is SOOO excited to start kindergarten in the fall.  She asks me at least once a week when she gets to go to school.  (I put this in writing so when she's a teenager and I'm forcing her to go, I can can at least show her that at one time she was more than eager.)
