Life has been a whirlwind the last few months. For those that don't know, Carter Samuel Duersch made his appearance in this world on May 28th...about 16 weeks early. We are now living the NICU life. We've learned more in the past six weeks about ventilators, blood gases, and other medical issues than we ever thought we would. Cole and Izzy love their new little brother and love to go see him. (I'm sure the ice cream at the end of most visits is enticing also.) Here's just a few pictures of Carter's life.
